Actual RP For Once?

And now time for an actual roleplay? Haha I don't know. Let's try it for once. We're still gonna go with MOTHER characters but being that this is mainly for Dusty that should be given.

--Generic Starter Because We Don't Need Skellies Where We're Going--

And so since the threat of the Couch Flipper had been taken care of and was revealed to be Claus all along, Fuel simply chilled in Duster's basement, aka the Thief Cave, sipping hot chocolate as they always had. On Mondays, anyway. After midnight it would officially be Tuesday, yet he'd still be able to hang out with the guy anyway. His fire powers would come in handy eventually, he knew it.

And he probably wouldn't have tried practicing if he knew how bad the wind outside was getting.

Duster was always fond of going on adventures or just, well, hanging around with Fuel. After the adventure he was on had ended, he didn't really had much to do, so he was glad he had something to keep him busy other then lazing around all day. He would've been more happy about it being Monday, because of Fuel's rather large dedication to his schedule. But he was just glad he was in his home, seeing that weather like this in Tazmily is somewhat rare.

Something had always compelled him to follow such a schedule, as in he's usually very forgetful and uppity, unable to remember to do the slightest thing. He didn't even know why he had the motivation to take care of such things. However, he hated Sundays because they required him to be alone. No matter, though, the forest never had anything bad in it and he enjoyed chilling in the hot springs. The child wasn't even aware where the idea for such a schedule came from, but he followed it right down to the time.

Y'know, if he'd stop losing track of it as he always did.

What alerts Fuel from his thinking is a banging on the window and loud swirling of wind.

"Uh....is somebody here?" Duster asked Fuel, not entirely sure if this would be something he'd be up to or not.

The weather outside was quite harsh, so who would be so inclined to be outside NOW of all times? Of course they seemed like they needed to get in, but who were they? and why did they need to come to Duster's of all places?

Fuel simply shook his head, mind becoming rather fogged due to exhaustion. Didn't help the fact that he wanted to stay up, but. If Duster was going to check the door, he'd have to do it by himself. Why was he suddenly tired, anyway?

"Uh, Fuel, if you're tired you can go up and rest on the couch" Duster said, noticing his freind's sudden fatigue.

He decided to head upstairs to check who exactly was out there, peering out the window, but he saw, well, nothing.

"What in the.." Duster said, before sighing and turning back to go downstairs again.

The brunette simply fell over onto a pillow after Duster got up, not even feeling the motivation to really move. Ugh, why was he suddenly so tired? He hated the sense that didn't make, which also didn't really make sense, but. He was too tired for your so called "sense". He hated all of it.

Which was weird, seeing as he was such a mellow person. But he got mad easily, so it was kind of okay. Which made sense.

"Well uh, you're tired early." Duster said, it was quite irregular for Fuel to have gotten tired this early on. He's usually up and more energetic for a lot longer on Mondays, even if they just sat around. But with this weather it was one to get somebody...down, so he'd better off not question it.

Fuel dozed off finally, still mad at nothing making sense. And another banging, except at the door this time, doesn't even wake him up.

Duster took a quick glance to see that Fuel had gone and, well, passed out. After hearing that odd banging at the door AGAIN, he finally decided to answer the door. He reached forward and opened the door when...he was blasted in the face with a combination of rain and wind, which he quickly retaliated by, well, SLAMMING THE DOOR SHUT.

A screech from outside followed by mad shuffling and then finally a thump was all that was heard from behind the door. It was, however, muffled.

Duster, hearing this screeching, quickly opened the door, as soon as he did, a body quickly fell down to the floor. Whoever it was however, seemed unknown, seeing as they were drenched in water, and covered with dirt and leaves.

It was a boy with long scruffy brown hair and a hat, which quickly slipped off his head as he fell. A kind of scratchy noise came from him, too, and it sounded agonizing.

"Well uh...I guess it's best he stays here.." Duster said. Noticing how the boy seemed to be in pain, Duster took him and set him down next to Fuel. "Wonder where he came from, doesn't seem like he's from around here."

The boy was half conscious, too, it seemed that however he got there, it was painful when he landed. A low scratchy groan comes from him again, as he tilts his head back into a cushion. A quick glance at his hat now on the floor signaled, 'Hand me that, would ya?'

Duster took a quick glance over to the hat laying on the floor. "You mean that?" He quickly grabbed the hat and gently set it a top his head. "Hm, I guess that's better"

He nodded, another noise coming from him. He was just plain exhausted, his mind was foggy, and almost every part of him hurt. He also didn't seem to have a clue where he was.

"If you're tired feel free to rest here I guess, the storm should be gone by sunrise." Duster assured. Tazmily did get a lot of wandering travels, but this one seemed...off, like he was from a different time. But it's best not to let that get in the way, he needed help.

Another scratchy sound was all that he emitted, it seemed that he was unable to talk right then. His eyes slowly closed, and for some reason, a year would pop into Duster's mind:

"1982."

"Well I guess I got two p- Huh?" Duster was quickly cut off by something popping up in his mind: 1982? As in the year? Odd how that would come up at a time like this, seemingly out of nowhere. It was a year that was so long ago and yet....could this boy be connected to the year? It'd be better off if he'd wait for him to get his rest before he did any questioning, though.

The boy didn't wake back up until 2 AM, when loud thunder erupts from outside. It still fails to awaken the brunette next to him, however. He breathes in repeatedly, unable to gather his wits. And with a notable French accent, comes out, "Wh-where is this place...?"

He was greeted with silence however, as the house was now dark and quiet, all the lights were out and the fire had burnt out. Along with Fuel and Duster being sound asleep, snoring audibly coming from the other side of the room.

Another loud crashing causes him to jump out of his seat, shrieking. He wasn't used to storms like this either.
